1 - Une anomalie du canal auriculo-ventriculaire (CAV) est un problème dans la partie du cœur qui relie les cavités supérieures (oreillettes) aux cavités inférieures (ventricules). Il existe deux types d’anomalies du canal auriculo-ventriculaire : complètes et partielles.
2 - L'anomalie complète du canal auriculo-ventriculaire (CAVC) est une cardiopathie congénitale grave dans laquelle il existe un grand trou dans le tissu (le septum) qui sépare les côtés gauche et droit du cœur. Le trou se trouve au centre du cœur, là où se rencontrent les chambres supérieures et les chambres inférieures.
1 - An atrioventricular (AV) canal defect is a problem in the part of the heart that connects the upper chambers (atria) to the lower chambers (ventricles). There are two types of atrioventricular canal defects: complete and partial.
2 - Complete atrioventricular canal (CAVC) defect is a severe congenital heart disease in which there is a large hole in the tissue (the septum) that separates the left and right sides of the heart. The hole is in the center of the heart, where the upper chambers where the upper chambers and lower chambers meet.
